Also quick note, I had the original Apple but I customized her since I don't like Apple anymore.
This was so much fun to make. And I got to try out my new Bloc-Loc rulers to trim the HST's. Love them!!!

English Paper Pieced 6-point stars using template from Rachel @ Stitched in Color.
www.stitchedincolor.com/2012/10/apple-stars.html
Made with one fat eighth bundle of "Briar Rose" by Heather Ross from Westwood Acres Fabric.
Paper pieced this 6" block using vintage, feedsack, and Atsuko Matsuyama fabrics. Thanks to Sam (www.flickr.com/photos/paeoniasfz/) and Jenny (www.flickr.com/photos/krousegirl2/) for the feedsack and vintage! Will re-photograph after I remove paper and press the seams open properly. For now, a certain little dog needs walking ;)
...in wonky little pots! This bitty block theme (combined piecing and embroidery) was supposed to be a "skill builder" and it was. Try as hard as I may, I just can't do perfect paper piecing, leaving me even more in awe of you tiny paper piecers! There is an extra because #1 is slightly short (it measures 3-3/8" across). I decided to go ahead and show it, just in case someone wants it anyway.
